Terms of Service
Last updated: July 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CitePack (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
CitePack is operated by Navsheen Marwaha, a sole proprietor based in India (“CitePack,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us at founder@citepack.com.
2. The Service
CitePack analyzes how citable a website is to AI answer engines (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google (Gemini)) and generates content and recommendations intended to improve that citability. We offer:
- A free diagnosis (a sealed AI-visibility verdict for a URL you submit);
- A one-time report ($49) that unlocks the full analysis, a Fix Pack, generated pages, and a before/after citation measurement; and
- CitePack Pro ($99/month), an optional subscription that adds ongoing monitoring and re-checks.
3. Payments and Merchant of Record
Purchases are processed by our third-party payment provider acting as the Merchant of Record (currently Paddle or Lemon Squeezy). The Merchant of Record handles the transaction, billing, and applicable taxes, and its terms also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown before checkout and may change with notice; changes do not affect purchases already made.
4. Subscriptions and renewals
CitePack Pro is billed monthly and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and you retain access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit URLs for websites you do not own or are not authorized to analyze;
- Use the Service to attack, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to any system;
- Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service or attempt to circumvent rate limits, the paywall, or security controls;
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
7. The deliverable — and what we do not promise
CitePack measures and improves the on-page citation signals it adds, and proves how your citability score changed before and after. We probe real AI engines to ground-truth results (Google is probed via Gemini as a proxy; we do not measure Google AI Overviews directly).
We do not guarantee that any specific AI engine will cite any specific page, or any particular ranking, traffic, or revenue outcome. No honest tool can promise that — AI engines are third parties whose behavior we do not control. Generated content is provided for you to review and publish at your discretion.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by CitePack and protected by law. You retain ownership of your own website content. Pages and recommendations we generate for you are licensed to you to use for your own website. You grant us the limited rights needed to crawl the URLs you submit and to provide the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting, authentication, AI inference, email, and payments). Their availability and terms may affect the Service. See our Privacy Policy for the providers that process data.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CitePack will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
