It measures whether AI answer engines cite your website, generates the pages that win those citations, then re-tests the engines to prove it — the fix and the receipt in one place. It runs on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) signals under the hood, but what it sells is proof, not a dashboard. Because the name looks like a few unrelated products, here’s the plain-English clarification.
CitePack is not
- Not a backpack or luggage brand. It has nothing to do with the similarly-spelled “CITYPAK.”
- Not a bibliography or reference manager, and not an academic citation generator. It is unrelated to tools like Zotero or Mendeley. “Citation” here means being cited by AI answer engines — not formatting an APA or MLA reference.
- Not a developer or code-context tool. It is unrelated to any code-packing or repository-context utility that shares a similar name.
Why we built it
More and more product research now starts inside an AI tool instead of a search box. When a model answers a buyer’s question, it cites a handful of sources — and if you’re not one of them, you’re invisible to a fast-growing slice of demand, no matter how well you rank in classic search. Most tools in this space stop at monitoring: they tell you that you’re not cited. CitePack goes one step further and generates the actual pages that fix it — then measures whether the on-page signals moved.
Who’s behind it
CitePack is built and operated by Navsheen Marwaha, a sole proprietor based in India. It’s an independent, self-funded product — small, focused, and shipped in the open. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as our Merchant of Record, which takes care of billing and applicable taxes worldwide. There are no investors to please and no growth theatre — just a tool that has to earn its keep by being useful.

The most honest thing an AI citation platform can do is point itself at its own site. So we did — and we’re fixing our own gaps in public rather than hiding them.
We ran our own product on citepack.com and it told us the truth: a Moderate band, most of the seven signals still to fix, and a realistic ceiling of 85. The pages you’re reading — this one, the guides, and the methodology page — are part of closing that gap in public. It’s a live data point, not a testimonial.
What we won’t claim
CitePack is early. We have no customer logos, testimonials, or revenue figures to show off, so we don’t invent any. We won’t promise a specific engine will cite a specific page — no honest tool can. What we do promise is a measurement you can trust: the real engines, their real cited sources, and a before → after that’s proven, not estimated.
